The Westmoreland County Industrial Development Corporation (WCIDC) will receive sealed bids for the purchase and salvage of various equipment, structures, and material located on the site of the former State Correctional Institution - Greensburg (SCI-Greensburg) Items to be sold include but not limited to the following: * 1.75 KW Diesel Generator, 10,000-gallon oil tank, switchgear, load bank * Existing Co-Generator Plant, in whole or part * Steel Frame Buildings * Boilers * Turbines * Piping All salvage material bids will be accepted based on the highest bid received. Question Deadline 11/27/2024 at 5:00 PM ET All requests for information shall be submitted in writing to the office of the Engineer at bclement@hflenz.com. Requests for information will not be accepted after time and date. Prospective bidders can address all questions to the office of the engineer at (717) 461-3916 attention Mr. Bryan Clement or by contacting the Westmoreland County Industrial Development Corporation directly at (724) 830-3610 attention Ms. Melissa Iarussi. Bids may be held by the WCIDC for a period not to exceed ninety (90) days from the date of the opening of the bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of the bidders prior to awarding the Contract.
