A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the Hempfield Township, negotiable U.S. Government Bonds, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder, and an acceptable surety authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid for the hazardous materials abatement and building demolition shall be submitted with each bid.
