The School Board of Monroe County, Florida ("School Board") is soliciting professional services from qualified firms to complete renovations and upgrades to the existing Coral Shores High School Baseball Field located at Founders Park, 87000 Overseas Highway, Islamorada Florida (the "Project). The selected Respondent will serve as a Program Management Entity for the Project and shall be responsible for successful completion of all planning, design and construction services required to complete the work described in this solicitation in compliance with the directives of MCSD. If the cost of work detailed in your offer exceeds $100,000, Respondent will be required to furnish a payment & performance bond in an amount equal to the cost of the work. To be considered for award, your offer must include proof of bonding capacity from a surety insurer authorized to do business in the State of Florida. All pricing referenced in your offer must include the cost of bonding. Before commencement of work, Contractors are required to execute and record the bond in the public records of Monroe County and to furnish a certified copy of said bond to School Board. In accordance with Florida Statute 255.05, the School Board is prohibited from making payment to Contractors until all requirements under this section have been met. No waivers shall be allowed for proposals which have not been submitted by the deadline date. All proposals must remain valid for a period of ninety (90) days or until the School Board approves the contract. All timely submitted proposals will be reviewed for responsiveness and suitability for the District's needs, and a recommendation will be made for the School Board to award this solicitation to the vendor whose proposal/bid represents the best interests of the Monroe County School District. The School Board reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive any irregularities or informality, and to accept or reject any items or combination of items.
