SCOPE OF WORK P&C Construction (P&C), as the CM/GC firm selected by Beaverton School District (BSD), is seeking a qualified subcontractor for preconstruction services and supply/install of the electrical for the Aloha High School Mechanical Upgrade project. Proposing firm must be skilled in working on occupied K-12 campuses, developing detailed phased schedules, estimates, performing value engineering, early procurement, studying labor conditions, understanding construction methods and techniques, monitoring, and documenting costs, and coordinating and communicating the activities of the firm through the design and construction phases specifically for k-12 school projects. The proposer must include all trade scope identified in this package. SCOPE OF WORK DOCUMENTS The scope of work for this project is provided and defined in the 90% Schematic Design D Project Scope The scope of this Aloha High School Mechanical Modernization project is to remove and replace or upgrade existing mechanical equipment, upgrade mechanical controls and remove and replace ceiling and lighting in the affected work areas. Structural work may include strengthening of the existing framing to support new mechanical units as well as coordination of new mechanical penetrations through the existing roof and shear walls. The project is expected to include the following scope: o Investigation of existing conditions o Mechanical equipment replacement in ground floor areas, see Figure 1 o Mechanical equipment refurbishment in mezzanine areas o Mechanical control upgrades o Removal and replacement of existing ceilings and lighting in the affected work areas o Patch and repair any walls affected by the work o Provide new intake and exhaust hoods on the roof to serve new equipment, and infill and repair the roof where any existing hoods are removed
