TTU is seeking Proposer(s) to provide labor, material, licenses, and/or certifications necessary to fulfill the various and growing needs to facilitate daily operations. Proposer(s) are instructed to complete, sign, and return the following documents as part of its proposal. If Proposer fails to return each of the following with its proposal, then TTU may reject the proposal. The Proposal must contain all the following components: o Proposer Response Form o HUB Subcontracting Plan o Signed Affirmation and Conflict of Interest Disclosure Please note, there may be a pre-solicitation conference for this solicitation. TTU highly recommends that your company attends this event. Texas Tech University ("TTU") is seeking a Proposer(s) to provide labor, material, licenses, and/or certifications ("Services") necessary to fulfill the various and growing needs to facilitate daily operations on the main campus and any and all satellite or off-site locations. TTU seeks professionals in a variety of industries or fields that create a cohesive and efficient operation. The purpose of this RFP is to obtain relationships with various industry leaders that will provide industry expertise and competitive pricing. Project Details TTU currently maintains various owned and leased facilities, grounds, and infrastructure (collectively referred to herein as "Facilities") both on and off-campus that require regular maintenance and repair Services, all of which will be covered under this RFP. These Facilities require regular preventative maintenance and upgrades, updates, and renovations. The Proposer(s) can service any or all locations considered under this RFP and TTU may add or remove Facilities from being covered under this RFP during the term of any resulting agreement(s). Proposer(s) shall coordinate Services with the TTU Operations Division and the requesting departments and provide a pricing schedule or quote, including a breakdown of the cost of labor and material. Labor and material shall be detailed and provided on individual quotes for requested projects, and the resulting master Contract from this RFP shall be referenced on each quote. Unless otherwise arranged, Services will take place during normal business hours unless approved in advance by TTU in writing. Normal business hours are defined as Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Projects can range from small maintenance and repair to larger-scale construction services, that may require supplemental documentation. TTU is seeking discounted Proposals for Services to be utilized for the duration of the Agreement term. Projects will be formally submitted to the awarded Proposer(s) by the issuance of a Purchase Order or a TTU Construction Services Agreement, and no Services other than what is authorized on a Purchase Order shall be authorized. In addition to a purchase order, at the discretion of TTU Procurement Services, a supplemental, project specific contract may be issued that will specify details of the project, such as any special terms or completion dates. The scope of work depends on the Proposer(s) capabilities. Not every Proposer will be able to provide the full scope of the Project, and TTU may engage several awarded Proposers to complete any project. Services, for the purpose of this RFP, are defined as any individual or combination of trade-specific labor and material provided with expertise and industry knowledge by the Proposer(s). These Services can include, but are not limited to: 1.2.1 Masonry and/or Waterproofing 1.2.2 Welding 1.2.3 Electrical 1.2.4 Lighting (Exterior and Interior) 1.2.5 Painting (Exterior and Interior 1.2.6 Fencing (Various types including piping, wood, metal, etc.) 1.2.7 Plumbing 1.2.8 HVAC 1.2.9 Grounds Maintenance 1.2.10 Dirt work/Excavation 1.2.11 Demolition 1.2.12 Roadwork/Paving/Parking Lot 1.2.13 Facility Maintenance, Repair, and Renovation 1.2.14 Acoustical and Drywall 1.2.15 Building Construction 1.2.16 Storefront/Glass Work/Windows 1.2.17 Building Envelope Repairs and Maintenance 1.2.18 Grease Trap and Vent Hood Cleaning 1.2.19 Pest Control 1.2.20 Janitorial 1.2.21 Flooring 1.2.22 Special Trades; and 1.2.23 Boiler/Chiller Maintenance and Services All communication relating to this RFP must be submitted in writing by the date indicated in the Schedule of Events. Questions and Addenda issued related to the RFP, if any, will be posted online. Deadline for Submission of Written Questions Wednesday, October 23, 2024 2:30 PM Central TTU will collect all questions and respond after the Submission Deadline through an Addendum to the RFP that will be distributed through the online. The maximum term for an awarded Contract under this RFP is anticipated to begin on the date of the last signature and to expire four (4) years from that date. Unless terminated earlier pursuant to the Contract terms, the Contract would automatically renew for up to four (4) one (1) year renewal terms unless either party provided written notice of its intent not to renew the Contract at least sixty (60) days prior to the end of the initial or then-current renewal term. The parties may negotiate and mutually agree on an alternate term.
