Reference Number 0000367569 In general, the work of this on-call consists of providing labor, supervision, tools, equipment, materials, mobile cranes, rigging, scaffolding, and man-lifts required to make any necessary repairs to the Port of Oakland container cranes, removing existing damaged or unsound paint, cleaning and preparing crane surfaces for welding and painting with hand tools and power tools, and painting the prepared surfaces for the period indicated. The work also includes the touch-up of tested or repaired areas. The existing paint of the cranes may contain lead. License, DIR Requirements, and CARB Certification: A California Class A contractor's license is required prior to award of this Contract. Joint ventures must secure a joint venture license prior to award of this Contract. A Performance Bond and a Payment Bond are required for this contract. The amount of the bonds will be determined by dividing the maximum value established by the Board for the threeyear term of the contract by the number of contracts awarded.
