The Board of Education, Oak Grove School District 68, 1700 O'Plaine Road Green Oaks, IL 60048 will receive sealed bids for: OAK GROVE SCHOOL DISTRICT 2025 TUCKPOINTING & MASONRY REPAIRS ATTN: Jason Udstuen, Director of Business Services The Work shall take place at 1700 O'Plaine Road Green Oaks, IL 60048. The Work includes, but is not limited to, several areas of tuckpointing, building control joint removal/replacement and full brick veneer replacement along with associated masonry flashing. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guarantee that shall be not less than 10 percent of the amount of the Base Bid, and at the option of the Bidder may be a Certified Check, Bank Draft, or a Bid Bond, secured by a Guarantee or Surety Company. Certified Check must be made payable to the order of Oak Grove School District 68. The Contractor must pay the Prevailing Wage Rates for all work per Illinois Law. It is the policy of Oak Grove School District 68 to provide equal opportunity to all qualified businesses in the awarding of contracts and accordingly promotes the utilization of diversified businesses to the maximum extent feasible in any contract issued against the solicitation to bid. Oak Grove School District 68 reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities in the bidding procedure, or accept the bid that in its opinion will serve its best interest. Any such decision shall be considered final. Oak Grove School District 68 reserves the right to set aside a Bid from a Contractor whom, in the District's opinion, does not exhibit past experience equal to the size and scope of this project. It shall be the bidder's responsibility to ensure that the bids were received at the District Office by District Office personnel at that time. The District shall not be responsible for bids received at the District Office after the deadline regardless of the reason. Any bids received after the previously stated deadline will be returned to the bidder unopened. The bidder shall have a written sexual harassment policy in place in full compliance with Section 2-105 of the Illinois Human Rights Act.
