The Charlotte County Erosion Control Project consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, supplies, materials, transportation, fuel, power, water, providing environmental protection, and performing all operations as indicated in the Contract Plans, Technical Specifications, and Federal and State Permits. It is the intent of Charlotte County to secure the services of a Contractor to furnish all material, labor, equipment, and all other associated appurtenances required to successfully provide erosion control and shoreline stabilization measures including maintenance dredging and beach disposal for approximately 5,000 feet of eroding gulf and inlet shorelines utilizing Navigation Channel sediments. Project location is southern end of Manasota Key and Palm Island. TS-02 BID PRICE: The bid prices shall include Contractor's cost in full for all services, transportation, labor, materials, and equipment used in performing the services herein. TS-03 MOBILIZATION: A. GENERAL - The Work specified in this section consists of the preparatory efforts and operations in mobilizing for beginning Work on the Project, including, but not limited to, those operations necessary for the movement of personnel, plant, equipment, materials, supplies and incidentals to the Project area, and for the establishment of temporary offices, buildings, safety equipment and first-aid supplies, water supply, electric supply, sanitary facilities, transportation facilities, and other facilities as required by the General Provisions; the Special Provisions; and Federal, State and local laws and regulations. All costs for providing the bond and insurance required for this Project shall be included within the Bid Item for Mobilization. It also includes arrangements for on-site storage and maintenance of said equipment, as well as access to the Work Areas for all equipment. Further, it includes construction access and staging, construction access and staging restoration, and Maintenance of Traffic (MOT).
