Renovation of an educational facility in Port Charlotte, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Charlotte County Schools Murdock Middle School Generator Addition Wharton-Smith has been awarded the Charlotte County Schools Murdock Middle School Generator Addition project and is now soliciting proposals from subcontractors. The project consists of the addition of a new emergency generator to the existing school campus. Demolition of select existing switchgear items is also included. Subcontract bonding is required for: Any contracts over $100k Any scopes involved with the building envelope (i.e. roofing, doors, windows, etc.) Any MEPF trades (i.e. Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing & Fire Protection) Bids will only be accepted from Prequalified Firms utilizing the required Form of Proposal included in the Bid Package. This project includes Davis Bacon Wage Requirements. Wharton-Smith, Inc. is willing to review any responsible quote & will negotiate terms, if appropriate.
