Construction Services - Tacoma Smelter Plume Yard Program Group 17 Soil Removal and Restoration Ecology is inviting qualified construction contractors to submit their bids for construction services. Services will be in accordance with the Model Toxics Control Act (MTCA) and will include removing soil contaminated with arsenic and lead from residential yards in the Tacoma, Washington area. Services will include replacement of soils and restoration of impacted landscaping and other yard improvements impacted by the remediation activities. The remedial action will address smelter fallout-impacted soil at properties in Tacoma, Washington and surrounding areas (Cleanup Site Identification Number 3657).
