This scope of work is estimated to be between $550,000 to $600,000 and includes the following: removal and demolition of existing site features, such as grass, a chain link fence, a patio structure, asphalt and road base, concrete footings, and debris from the batting cage area, all of which will need to be hauled off-site. Soil testing and herbicide application will be needed to prepare the base. A new irrigation system shall be installed and tested, including valves, a controller, and necessary components to ensure efficient coverage. Additionally, soil will need to be imported, amended, and scarified to a specified depth, per soil report. The field will require grading and compacting, then installation of Bermuda Sports Field Turf. The batting cage area will receive compacted DG with a Redwood header. Field maintenance will need to be provided for 90 days following the turf installation, and other associated improvements per bid documents.
