Site work for a water / sewer project in New Haven, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Huntertown proposes to construct a 1.0-million-gallon composite elevated tank (concrete shaft with steel tank) on Town property at the southeast corner of Shoaff Road and Hand Road. Additionally, a 12-inch water main will be extended from Shoaff Road and Malcolm Road to the proposed tower location, a distance of 6,990 LF. Contract Section A: Composite Elevated Storage Tank & Site Improvements will include composite elevated water storage tank, telemetry for water tower monitoring, water tower site and utility improvements, erosion control, and surface restoration. Contract Section B: Shoaff Rd Water Main Extension will include installation of water mains, horizontal directional drill installation below streams and roadways, protection of existing utilities, erosion control, and surface restoration. All qualified Contractors are invited to bid the work. Bids shall be submitted in an opaque sealed envelope marked with the project title and include the name and address of the Bidder. Bids shall be accompanied by a bidder s bond or certified check equal to 5% of the bid amount. Bids arriving after the time set will be returned unopened and only complete bids with all required materials will be considered.
