The Ferguson-Florissant School District is requesting bid proposals for Electrical Upgrade for Chillers at McCluer North High school. All work must be completed by March 1st, 2025. Any deviations from the specifications must be stated. The contractor shall comply with the statutory policy of the State of Missouri stating "Not less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages shall be paid to all workers performing work under this contract. However, the Board of Education reserves the right to make such selections that, in its judgment, are best suited and most acceptable for the purpose intended. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or any part thereof. Contractor is required to mount (2) two 600amp fused disconnects on rack next to switchgear. Contractor will then be required to repipe power from existing chillers to the (2) two new 600amp fused disconnects. Contractor is required to retap bus bars in the same locations as current taps. Contractor will be required to replace the (3) three main switch gear fuses prior to energizing the system. All work must be performed in accordance with all local, county, state and federal code requirements.
