The Overton County Budget and Purchasing Committee is now accepting sealed bids ROOF REPAIR AT THE OVERTON COUNTY JAIL Overton County Budget and Purchasing Committee reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids. Include the following documentation with the Bid response in a sealed envelope: 1. Bid Response form 2. Bonding document 3. Proof of insurance Bid Envelope: The Following information will be provided on the sealed bid envelope (in accordance with TCA 62-6-119): 1. Name, license number, expiration date thereof, and license classification. 2. Phone, email, and Jail Roof Repair Overton County is an Equal Opportunity Employer. All contracts shall be approved as to form by Overton County's Legal Counsel per T.C.A. 5-14-108(j). T.C.A. 5-15-108 (j). By submission of this bid, each bidder and each person signing on behalf of any bidder certifies, and in the case of a joint bid each party thereto certifies as to its own organization, under penalty of perjury, that to the best of its knowledge and belief that each bidder is not on the list created pursuant to 12-12-106. Price may be a factor, but will not determine the awarding of the bid The bid will be awarded to the "best and lowest bidder" and not the "low bidder". The County will make the determination of which bidder is the "best and lowest bid" and not the vendor. The County reserves the right to negotiate with the successful bidder on options or changes to the bid.
