DBE/MBE Participation 2.5% WBE Participation 3% 1.1 These Specifications cover the upgrading of existing sanitary sewer lift stations. The locations of the work are shown on the Plans. 1.2 The upgrades shall consist generally of the following: Main Pumping Station a. Install new duplex 30HP non-clog submersible pumps. b. Replace existing 4" discharge piping with new 6" discharge piping. c. Sawcut concrete building floor to install larger drop-in access hatch(es) with safety grates. d. Purchase and install new 2 Ton electric pump hoist on existing monorail. e. Replace both pump junction boxes f. Replace existing pump disconnects with new relocated pump disconnects. g. Replace all equipment inside wet well (piping, guide rails, base elbows, etc.) h. Various electrical upgrades as indicated on electrical plans. The work generally consists of the following items of work: upgrading three existing sanitary sewer lift stations.
