Site work and paving for a road / highway in San Gabriel, California. Design plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The project will include 1) Intersection and Crossing improvements at 7 schools; 2) Intersection Improvements at 5 high-risk locations; 3) Regionally significant Bikeway Gap Closure connecting existing Class II bikeways on Del Mar Avenue in south San Gabriel to an existing Class II facility in the City of San Marino; 4) Install RRFB at 25 existing high-risk crosswalk locations; and 5) Data collection, including pedestrian and bicycle counts (pre/postimplementation) This project is included in the City of San Gabriel's FY 2025-2028 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of November 25, 2024, preliminary design is complete. Awaiting funding agreement from Metro. Construction is anticipated from 2024 to 2026.* *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
