Hauling of Non-Hazardous Brine Scope of Services The City of Modesto, Utilities Department, Water Division, seeks a qualified contractor to provide for the loading, transportation and unloading of non-hazardous brine waste material. The non-hazardous brine waste is collected from ion exchange drinking water treatment systems. The brine is generated during the removal of nitrates from the two (2) drinking water wells owned and operated by the City of Modesto. The non-hazardous brine waste shall be loaded from one (1) tank site located in the Modesto area then transported to East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD) waste disposal plant, located at 2020 Wake Ave, Oakland, CA. This IFB is for the loading, transporting, and unloading of non-hazardous brine waste only. All disposal fees will be billed direct to the City of Modesto by EBMUD.
