Scope Gilbert Avenue, Reedsport Pl & Stinnett Pl sanitary sewer improvements include 1,800 LF of 6" sanitary sewer by open cut, 165 LF of 12" sewer by open cut, and 127 LF of 12" sewer with 20" casing by bore and other miscellaneous improvements as shown on the plans and in accordance with the specifications. The Contractor shall supply all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the work in accordance with these specifications and plans. Before bidding on the project, bidders are expected to inspect the site of the work and to inform themselves regarding all site and roadway conditions. The Contractor will be required to coordinate construction activities with the City. All work shall conform to City of DeSoto's construction standards and in accordance with the contract drawings and specification documents. All Work must be completed within 30 days of the issuance of a Notice to Proceed. There will be an overall DBE/MWBE/HUB participation goal of 20% for this RFB. The consultant or contractor is encouraged to make a good-faith effort to use DBE/MWBE/HUB subconsultant or subcontractors to perform 20 percent of services for capital projects only as outlined in this RFB.
