As of January 29, 2025, project was awarded to L&K Contracting Company, Inc., but awarded amount is not available. The work generally consists of the construction of approximately 3,410 linear feet of 10- inch to 2-inch PVC water main,2,000 linear feet of 8-inch PVC gravity sewer main, 200 linear feet of 2-inch PVC sewer force main, 10 sewer manholes and miscellaneous appurtenances. Question Deadline 01/06/2025 Every request for such interpretation should be in writing addressed to Southern Engineering Solutions, Inc. at P.O. Box 610; Andalusia, AL 36420 and to be given consideration must be received at least five (5) days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids The successful bidder will be required to submit 100% performance and payment bonds. Guarantee will be required with each bid for at least 5% of the amount of the bid filed in the form of a certified check, Bid Bond, or irrevocable Letter of Credit acceptable to the owner payable to the Utilities Board of the City of Andalusia. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities, or to reject any or all bids, and to award the contract to the lowest, responsible, responsive bidder. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 30 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
