Site work for a civil project in Sneads, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project includes the following Work: The Town of Sneads CDBG-DR Wastewater Improvements Phase I project involves installing approximately 6,000 linear feet of 12-inch sewer force main from Lift Station 2 (LS2) to the Sneads Wastewater Treatment Plant, including air release valve assemblies and all necessary components. Improvements at LS2 include removing and replacing two existing submersible pumps, the control panel, and SCADA system; installing an emergency bypass pump and an electromagnetic flow meter; relocating the existing generator to the town's potable water well site; and replacing a portion of the existing security fence. All materials and work must meet the specifications outlined in the bid documents and comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Question Deadline 12/20/2024 at 5:00 PM CT, All questions shall be submitted in writing to Brent Melvin, P.E. at brentmelvin@melvineng.com. Questions will be answered by issuance of an Addendum at least seven (7) days prior to the bid. Instructions to Bidders. Small business and minority businesses, women's business enterprises, and labor surplus area firms are encouraged to submit proposals, and firms using such subcontractors are strongly encouraged to solicit such firms in the subcontracting process. Any Contracts/subcontracts issued under this procurement must comply with the necessary affirmative steps to assure that minority businesses, women's business enterprises, and labor surplus area firms are used when possible, in accordance with 2 CFR 200.321. The work to be performed under this contract is subject to the requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, as amended, 12 USC 1701u (Section 3).
