The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, equipment and labor necessary to construct Division III - Bull Swamp Water System Improvements, consisting of the following approximate quantities: Redmond Mill Road, Magenta Drive, Jimmy Road Water Main: 24,095 LF of 8" DIP Water Main, 1,797 LF of 8" RJ DIP Water Main, 31 LF of 8" RJ DIP Water Main Installed in Casing, 35 LF of 6" RJ DIP Water Main, 1,050 LF of 10" HDPE Water Main installed by Horizontal Directional Drill, Valves, Fittings, and Appurtenances. Parkwood Avenue Water Main: 5,288 LF of 8" DIP Water Main, 516 LF of 8" RJ DIP Water Main, 127 LF of 6" RJ DIP Water Main, Valves, Fittings, and Appurtenances. Bull Swamp Road Water Main: 11,437 LF of 6" DIP Water Main, 461 LF of 6" RJ DIP, Valves, Fittings, and Appurtenances. The project must be closed out before June 1, 2026 to comply by the SCIIP grants requirements. Bidding Documents may be viewed and ordered online by registering with Duncan Parnell. Registration with Duncan Parnell is required to obtain the bid documents and be added to the official Plan Holder's List. Addenda will only be notified to those buying full sets from Duncan Parnell via their bid room. The cost of bid documents and shipping is non-refundable. Security shall be in the form of a certified check or bid bond made payable to the Owner in an amount equal to not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. Contractor must provide fire, extended coverage, vandalism, and malicious mischief insurance equal to the actual value of the insured property during construction. No bidder may withdraw the bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening and thereof. These bid documents will be modified only by written addenda. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
