The Town of Seymour is requesting proposals for the removal and replacement of an existing rooftop unit located at the Seymour Police Department with the latest energy-efficient technology and construction in accordance with the attached drawings and specifications. The successful proposer shall furnish security in the form of a performance bond covering the faithful performance of the Contract (the "Performance Security"). The Performance Security shall be the full amount of the contract price. In addition to the Performance Security, the successful proposer shall furnish a bond covering the successful proposer's payment to its subcontractors and suppliers of all obligations arising under the Contract (the "Payment Bond"). The Payment Bond shall be (a) in the full amount of the Contract price. After the physical construction work has begun, it shall continue in an orderly fashion such that all contract work is substantially completed within 45 calendar days. The Town reserves the rights to accept all or any part of a proposal, reject all proposals, and waive any informalities or non-material deficiencies in a proposal. The Town also reserves the right, if applicable, to award the purchase of individual items under this RFP to any combination of separate proposals or proposers.
