Renovation of a municipal facility in Calumet, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes Roads Program is currently soliciting a Request for Proposal (RFP) from responsible, reliable and qualified Contractors for the engineer and design of Walbaum Road and the Geary Travel Center Improvement Project located in Calumet, OK. Native American preference will apply The Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes are currently soliciting proposals from responsible, reliable and responsive firms for Plan and Profile Sheets to include construction limits that incorporate the topographical and boundary survey to provide an asphalt overlay of 1.5 miles of the existing 2- lane Walbaum Road and widen to provide 12' lane widths, including installation of drainage structures. Plans, Specifications, and Engineer's Estimate must consist of a grading plan with earthwork quantities, structure detail and final grade, hydraulic analysis, geotechnical investigation, site plan with horizontal and vertical controls, traffic control plan, a storm water prevention plan and applicable details. Bidder must determine if an environmental assessment and archeological survey will be required and if so, include costs to complete reports to ensure compliance. Deliverables shall include the geotechnical engineering report, environmental and archeological reports if applicable, plans, specifications, engineer's estimate (PS&E), schedule of quantities for probable construction costs and construction bid letting, and detailed construction schedule. It is anticipated that the timeframe for the project will be approximately sixty (60) days following the signing of a professional services contract. The selected Bidder will be expected to complete the contracted scope of work within the specified timeframe, under the general direction and coordination of the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes For questions or concerns, please email tero@cheyenneandarapaho-nsn.gov. The Walbaum Road and Geary Travel Center Improvement Project is located at: 945 South Walbaum, Calumet, Oklahoma, 73014; and the project legal description is: SW/4 of Section 11 Township 12 North Range 10 West of Indian Meridian, Canadian County, Oklahoma. The Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to, the environmental assessment, archeological investigation, topographical and boundary survey, hydraulic analysis, geotechnical investigation, site plan with horizontal and vertical control, utility locate, grading plan with earthwork quantities, traffic control plan, storm water prevention plan and detail, structure details and final grade, engineer's estimate, and final construction plans to enable the construction of the project.
