The Illinois Prevailing Wage Act applies to work on the Project and therefore the successful bidder, and their subcontractors, must comply with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act and shall pay, and require every subcontractor to pay, the prevailing rates of wages as established by the Illinois Department of Labor (Department) for each craft or type of work needed to execute the contract in accordance with 820 ILCS 130/.01 et seq. The Village reserves the right to determine, in its sole discretion, whether the proposal, in its judgment, meets the needs or purposes intended. The Village further reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or parts thereof, and to waive any formality, technicality, or irregularity in any proposal.
