The work of this contract generally consists of furnishing and installing permanent liquid propane emergency generators at the Wolf Island Road Pump Station and the Combined Chemical Feed Station and furnishing and installing permanent liquid propane emergency generator replacements at the Perry Hill Pump Station and Main Pump Station as well as electrical service upgrades at the Main Pump Station. Work also includes furnishing and installing 1,000 gallon liquid propane tanks, concrete pads, bollards, chain link fence, selective demolition, automatic transfer switches (ATS), and associated electrical and gas piping work. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount. A Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Payment Bond each in the amount of 100% of the contract price will be required. Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. There will be no pre-bid conference required for this Contract. Question Deadline 12/04/2024 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be directed to Engineer. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than five business days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by formal written Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
