Bids Are Invited for Several Items and Quantities of Work as Follows: Base Bid - Rehabilitate the Chimney Portion of Eight(8) Existing Sanitary Sewer Manholes Located Along the City S 12-inch Main Sewer Collection Trunk Line. Base Bid - Construct Approximately 600 Lf of 10-inch Sewer Line by a Combination of Open Cut and Slick Boring, Approximately 10 Lf of 8-inch Sewer Line by Open Cut, Approximately 445 Lf of 6-inch Sewer Line by a Combination of Open Cut and Slick Boring. Nine (9) Sewer Manholes. Connection to Existing Sanitary Sewer Main. Sanitary Sewer Service Stubs. 6. Pavement Repairs. 7. Related Incidental Work. Additive Alternate Bid - Construct Approximately 790 Lf of 4-inch Sewer Service Lines With Cleanouts Up to and Including Connections to Existing Homes. Abandonment and De-commissioning of Septic / Treatment Systems. Related Incidental Work. A Bid Bond in the Amount of 5% of the Bid Issued by an Acceptable Surety Shall Be Submitted With Each Bid. Cash Currency is Not Acceptable as Bid Surety and is Not to Be Submitted in Lieu of the Bid Bond. Attention is Called to the Fact That Not Less Than the Federally Determined Prevailing (Davis-bacon and Related Acts) Wage Rate, as Issued by the Texas Department of Agriculture and Contained in the Contract Documents, Must Be Paid on This Project.
