When the A/C units are turned on, there is not enough power to run both the A/C and the other devices in the classroom, and as a result, the breakers trip. Buildings A & B have a combined total of 20 rooms that need this upgrade. A new 20A circuit will be installed for each room within the existing electrical main panels (in the basement) exclusively for the AC units. Although some rooms have 2 air conditioning units, they will share the same newly installed dedicated circuit. By isolating the AC units in this way, it allows their usage independently of the other electrical items that are being used in the room and thus prevents the problem. Contractor to furnish all materials, labor, equipment, tools, utility services and perform and complete all of the work required in connection with the purchase, delivery, construction and installation of the new circuits for the air conditioning units in the classrooms.
