The Work For Which Bids Are Asked Includes The Following Estimated Quantities: 150 Lf Of Sanitary Sewer (8 Pvc) And Laterals Along With Associated Sanitary Sewer Work; 470 L.f. Of Water Main (10 Pvc) And Associated Water Service Replacement Work Along S. Main Street (W. Oak Grove St. To South St.); 600 Lf Of Storm Sewer (12 To 15 Rcp) And Associated Storm Structure Work; Aggregate Base Installation; 350 S.y. Of Concrete Pavement; 4,650 S.y. Of Asphalt Pavement; 1,100 L.f. Of Concrete Curb And Gutter; 17,000 S.f. Of Concrete Sidewalk; 200 V.f. Of Modular Block Retaining Wall; Concrete Driveway Approach; Topsoiling And Seeding; As Well As All Related Work Including Unclassified Excavation, Erosion Control, Traffic Control, And Site Cleanup. Prospective Bidders Are Urged To Register With Online As A Plan Holder, Even If Bidding Documents Are Obtained From A Plan Room Or Source Other Than The Designated Website In Either Electronic Or Paper Format. Online Requires The Bidding Documents To Be Downloaded From The Site In Order To Submit A Bid In The Online. The Designated Website Will Be Updated Periodically With Addenda, Lists Of Registered Plan Holders, Reports, And Other Information Relevant To Submitting A Bid For The Project. All Official Notifications, Addenda, And Other Bidding Documents Will Be Offered Only Through Online. Neither Owner Nor Engineer Will Be Responsible For Bidding Documents, Including Addenda, If Any, Obtained From Sources Other Than Online. Instructions To Bidders. No Proposal Will Be Accepted Unless Accompanied By A Certified Check Or Bid Bond Equal To At Least 5% Of The Amount Bid, Payable To The Owner As A Guarantee That, If The Bid Is Accepted, The Bidder Will Execute And File The Proper Contract And Bond Within 15 Days After The Award Of The Contract. The Certified Check Or Bid Bond Will Be Returned To The Bidder As Soon As The Contract Is Signed, And If After 15 Days The Bidder Shall Fail To Do So, The Certified Check Or Bid Bond Shall Be Forfeited To The Owner As Liquidated Damages. No Bidder May Withdraw Their Bid Within 60 Days After The Actual Date Of The Opening Thereof. The Minimum Wages To Be Paid On The Project Shall Be In Accordance With The Wage Rate Scale Established By Local Wage Rates. Note That The Project Shall Be Partially Funded By The City S Arpa (American Rescue Plan Act) Funds. Owner Reserves The Right To Waive Any Informalities Or To Reject Any Or All Bids.
