The Project includes the following Work: New construction built to specifics of engineered design plans. This project consists of 50x80 shop addition with 5 bay doors, concrete floor, stem walls -mostly exterior work. In accordance with current codes. The Project is expected to commence on or after January 6, 2025 ; be substantially complete by August 31, 2025. The project start date is flexible, however if the Contractor leaves the site unattended/unworked for more than 5 consecutive work days after starting, fines will be imposed. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, cashier s check or cash in the amount of 5% of the amount of the bid proposal. Said bid security shall be forfeited to the City of Wendell as liquidated damages should the successful bidder fail to enter into contract in accordance with their proposal as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. The City of Wendell reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the bids received, and to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the best interest of the City of Wendell. All Bidders shall accompany proposals with evidence of holding a valid Idaho Public Works Contractors License covering work to be performed, State of Idaho Certificate of Existence and shall list sub-contractors as required by Idaho Code.
