The Board wishes to prequalify Contractors experienced in the application of a polyurethane sandwich system running track surfaces and who are interested in acting as General Contractor for re-Surfacing the running track at Assumption College School in Brantford, Ontario. Only Contractors that have been prequalified by the Board will be invited to submit a bid for the project. The Board reserves the right to limit the number of Contractors prequalified as part of this process. Installation of a polyurethane sandwich system running track surface on existing six lane 400m asphalt running track, complete with all markings to I.A.A.F. and Canadian Track and Field Association standards. The construction budget is currently estimated to be a range of $450,000 - $550,000, excluding taxes. The design phase commenced Fall 2024 with a tender date anticipated for early 2025 and construction start planned for early Spring and Summer 2025. The Project completion is planned for the second week of August 2025 to allow for deficiencies to be completed in advance of the facility being operational by the end of August 2025 for the start of the 2025 / 2026 school year. Contractors who have been previously prequalified or who are currently performing work for the Board must also respond to this request.
