Description of Services/Background: 1. Contractor shall provide all necessary materials, supplies, tools, equipment, transportation, licenses, permits, insurance and personnel to provide DSH with waste and debris disposal services, and collection and recycling of organic waste. For purpose of this Agreement, organic waste is defined as food waste, green waste, landscape and pruning waste, nonhazardous wood waste, and food-soiled paper waste that is mixed in with food waste. 2. DSH - Metropolitan is not permitting the use of subcontractors for this service. Any standard language in this IFB, which refers to subcontractors shall not apply to the Agreement. 3. Please carefully review and consider the minimum qualifications, and the detailed Scope of Work located in Attachment 14, Sample Agreement, Exhibit A, Scope of Work, in order to complete your bid. The term of any agreement resulting from this IFB is anticipated to be January 1, 2025, through December 31, 2025. Any agreement resulting from this IFB shall have no force or effect until it is signed by both parties and approved by the Department of General Services (DGS) if such approval is required. Performance shall start no later than on the expressed date set by the awarding agency and after all approvals have been obtained and the agreement is fully executed.
