Demolition, site work and new construction of an educational facility in Norwalk, California. Completed plans call for the construction of a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; and for the demolition of a educational facility.

Construction is expected to start in March 2025, with a completion date of June 2026. Little Lake City School District (District) of Los Angeles County, California, acting by and through its Governing Board, herein after referred to as the District will receive sealed bid proposal for the award of contract for: William Orr ES - Phase 1 Stem & Kindergarten Buildings. Scope Summary: Demolition of existing lunch shelter Demolition of existing associated sitework Construction of 1-lunch shelter, 2-classroom buildings J & K and associated sitework Alteration at Building C: removing existing windows and infilling with new 1-HR rated partitions Construction of 1-lunch shelter, 2-classroom buildings J & K and associated sitework Alteration at Building C: removing existing windows and infilling with new 1-HR rated partitions Construction of 3 New Buildings on Campus: Building J: 5,244 GSF (Classroom/Stem Building) Building K: 3,026 GSF (Classroom/Kindergarten Building) Building L: 1,329 GSF (Lunch Shelter) Each bid shall be submitted on the forms provided in the bid package in a sealed envelope clearly marked BIDNO. 24-25-001; William Orr ES - Phase 1 Stem & Kindergarten Buildings. This is a public works prevailing wage project and prior to contracting the selected bidder must be registered with the DIR. All work must conform to approved plans and specifications. Prequalification is required. The bidder must possess a class B contractor s license. Quality Bidders is an online pre-qualification site utilized by the Little Lake City School District to create a pool of qualified contractors. Award of Contract: The District shall award the Contract for the Project to the lowest responsible bidder as determined from the base bid alone by the District. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bid proposals, to accept or reject any one or more items of a bid or to waive any irregularities or informalities in the bids or in the bidding. No bidder may withdraw its bid for a period of ninety (90) calendar days after the date set for the receipt of bids. The Bidder is advised that all inquiries and clarifications about the bidding documents, specifications, etc., shallbe submitted to the District in writing no later than January 23, 2025, 2:00 PM., PST. Verbal communication by either party with regard to this matter is invalid.
