Irving Flood Control District Section III Drainage Improvements The work under this contract includes: Construct drainage improvements at Ledbetter Sump located at Cowboys Parkway and MacArthur Boulevard, Irving, Texas. A cashier's check, certified check, or acceptable bidder's bond, payable to the DISTRICT, in amount no less than five percent(5%) of the bid submitted must accompany each bid as a guarantee that, if awarded the contract, the bidder will, within ten (10) days after receipt of Notice of Award, enter into a contract and execute bonds on the forms provided in the Contract Documents. Contractor shall refer to Section 6.15 of the General Conditions and Section 1.13 of the Supplementary Conditions for additional information regarding the tax exemption of the OWNER. A performance Bond, Payment Bond and Maintenance Bond will be required. In case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating proposal prices, the OWNER reserves the right to adopt the most advantageous construction thereof, or to reject any or all bids and waive formalities. No bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after date on which bids are opened.
