As of December 1, 2025, this project is under construction and nearly completed. *Previous solicitation listed below for reference:* This project involves upgrading the interior of the existing research laboratory and support rooms on Level 3 of the Huntsman Cancer Institute North Building, which covers an area of approximately 16,040 square feet. It includes new paint throughout the lab and support rooms, temporary removal of laboratory equipment, replacement of laboratory furniture, workbenches, casework, sinks, countertops, flooring, lighting upgrade, repairs to ceiling tiles, updates to electrical, plumbing, and medical gas systems. The project will be completed in two phases to allow part of the lab to remain operational during construction. The phasing WILL NOT follow the phasing followed by the drawings, but rather will be phased in a north and south direction, the north section includes the curtain wall study area, the rest of the area will be cut down the middle of the project.
