Renovation of a detention facility in Raleigh, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
Central Prison - Steam Leak Repair/Replacement The Department of Adult Correction invites experienced design firms to submit qualifications to provide design and construction administration services for repair and/or replacement of the existing BMS Controls, mechanical equipment panels, flow meters, and architectural elements (VCT, Rubber Base, and Ceiling Tile). The need for repairs and equipment replacement stem from damage caused by a steam leak that occurred in the Mental Health Building at Central Prison located in Raleigh, NC. Full design services are required and will include all submittal requirements for the State Construction Office for all submittal phases, Cost Estimates updated at each phase with each SCO submittal, with Technical Specifications edited with Masterworks in Masterspec 2006, bidding services, construction administration services, record drawings in both AutoCAD (latest version) and Revit, and project closeout as defined by the State Construction Manual (Twelfth Ed.) dated March of 2019. Total Project Budget $3,456,000 The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
