Reference Number 0000369073 Delivery Point: Rochester Hills Purchase Type: Duration: 1 year Option: Two (1) Year Renewal Options The City wishes to establish a blanket purchase order with the selected vendor for anodized, or allodized aluminum sign blanks to be purchased on an as needed basis. The sign blanks must be 0.08 gauge with pre-drilled 7/16" diameter holes for mounting. Quoted item must be in the Standard MMUTCD design, size and shapes and all radius and hole locates must adhere to MMUTCD Standard Highway Sign Specifications. Pricing is also requested for 2" x 60" aluminum sign blanks (to be used as supplemental strips for sign posts). All signs shall utilize aluminum substrate that meets the following specifications: All aluminum signs shall conform to the requirements for aluminum alloy sheets in ASTM B 209, alloys 6061-T6 or 5052-H38 All aluminum signs shall be fabricated from nominal 0.081 inch thick aluminum sheet having a minimum thickness of 0.078 inch (except when noted on order). All aluminum signs shall be treated by the "Alodine 1200" or "Bondente 723" process. The vendor must state in his quote which process will be used. The process used should be colorless. All aluminum signs shall be free from sharp edges, burrs and other flaws that could injure workers handling the material.
