Lee County Board of County Commissioners seeks to contract with a qualified CONTRACTOR to provide for the purchase and installation of a 900kw Diesel generator with a 660-gallon double walled subbase tank and SAL2 Hurricane Rated Enclosure with decorative wrap, at the Melvin Morgan Constitutional Complex located at 2480 Thompson St., Floor Fort Myers, FL 33901. RESPONSBILITIES OF THE CONTRACTOR:CONTRACTOR shall furnish all labor, material, tools, equipment, supplies, services and other means necessary or proper for performing and completing the project. The CONTRACTOR shall be fully responsible for the coordination of their work and the work of their employees, subcontractors, and suppliers with the COUNTY and regulatory agencies, and assure compliance with schedules. The CONTRACTOR shall maintain the work area and site in a clean and acceptable manner. The CONTRACTOR shall ensure the work does not disrupt the operations of the building during the normal business hours. Should a full or partial system shutdown be necessary during this project, the Contractor shall coordinate such shutdown as far in advance as possible with the Project Manager and receive written authorization for the shutdown at least 24 hours prior to the work commencing. The CONTRACTOR shall protect finished and unfinished work. 1.1.The CONTRACTOR shall complete the following work at the site as depicted on plans and described herein including, but not limited to: 1.1.1. Installation of new concrete equipment slabs. 1.1.2. Installation of new generator, ATS, MTS and all associated duct banks, conduits and other electrical equipment. 1.1.3. Installation of new traffic bollards. 1.1.4. Instrument and Controls. 1.1.5. Restoration of project site.
