Site work for a water / sewer project in Lufkin, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

This project consists of a Base Bid to furnish and install approximately 1,950 linear feet of 24-inch PS 46 (SDR-35) PVC Gravity Sewer Line, manholes, and all other associated appurtenances. The project also includes an Alternate Base Bid to furnish and install 1,950 linear feet of 30-inch PS 46 PVC Pipe in lieu of 24-inch PS 46 PVC Pipe. The project also includes Additive Alternate Bid Items to furnish and install flowable backfill into approximately 2,050 linear feet of the existing 24-inch Vitrified Clay Pipe and to furnish and install Geopolymer Mortar Liner inside of the project manholes. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities, to reject any or all bids, and to accept the bid they consider most advantageous to the Owner. Bids may be held by the Owner for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders prior to awarding of the contract. Award of the contract will be made as a whole to one Bidder. The contract shall be awarded to the lowest, responsive, and responsible bidder. A certified check or bank draft payable to the order of the City of Lufkin, negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value) or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid.
