The City of Aledo, Illinois is soliciting bids for cleaning services. For questions related to the Request for Proposal please email the City Clerk at cityclerk@aledoil.gov or you may contact City Hall at (309) 582-7241. THE CITY OF ALEDO, through this request for proposal, intends to select a company to provide the full range of services associated with the interior cleaning of City Hall, including the Aledo Police Department. This will be for a two-year contract from January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2026. THE CITY OF ALEDO RESERVES the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities in the bidding process, and to accept that bid or combination of bids deemed to be in its best interest. Cost shall not be the sole determinant in awarding the contract. The City shall also consider the capability of the bidder to provide high quality, reliable service; bidder's prior background and experience in the City of Aledo; and the bidder's financial capability to carry out all contract obligations. The City reserves the right to complete background checks or investigations deemed necessary to determine the ability of the bidder to perform the work. No person or firm shall be denied the right to bid on the proposed contract on the grounds of race, creed, color, sex, national origin, handicap, or any other reason prohibited by law.
