HomeEd, the City of Edmonton Non-Profit Housing Corporation, has several planned medium-density residential development projects. As part of its 2024/2025 development program, HomeEd intends to design the Brightstar Apartment site, located at 10021 - 62 Street, Edmonton, close to Capilano Transit Centre and Capilano Library, to the east of the existing Capilano Tower. The project is a re-development of an existing apartment building. TIMELINE: Design is currently on hold. Demolition and Site Restoration work is expected in 2026. Schedules for building design, tender and construction may be confirmed mid-/Fall 2026. *Budget is unreleased.
