Reference Number 0000282406 Question Acceptance Deadline 10-Jan-2025 01:30:00 PM EST Agreement Number: 2024-E-0040 & 0041 Retainer Services Agreements with up to two (2) firms to call upon from time to time, depending on the Ministrys needs, to provide the Engineering Services described herein. In general terms, the project is to provide assistance in completing day-to-day deliverable assignments, and to undertake highly specialized assignments including peer reviews of projects of a complex and/or sensitive nature to the MTO, which likely will include several separate Work Items during a period of up to thirty-six (36) months. Staff to be Provided Key personnel shall have demonstrated experience in traffic engineering. The personnel shall have demonstrated knowledge of Ministry standards, policies, and practices in preparing contract packages and documentation, including drawings. Please refer to the Table 1 (Mandatory Qualification Requirements for members of the Technical Team) for detail. Scope of Work Items The Work Items expected under this Retainer would be relatively straightforward traffic operations related projects. The following types of services expected under this assignment, but not limited to: Traffic operations review and recommendations for improvements Traffic impact study peer reviews. Traffic signal warrant assessment, PHM-125 drawing prep./updates and traffic signal design including minor civil works Signing and pavement marking reviews / recommendations and production of drawings. Traffic data collection, processing, and analysis. Preparing traffic plans for significant major traffic generating special events Site-specific collision analysis, human factors review, and recommendations for safety improvements as part of Operational Performance Reviews or on an ad-hoc basis.
