Information Technology Facility - Replace Electrical Controls System General Description of Work: 1) Project consists of a. Electrical/Controls - Upgrades to the Generation Control System - Replacement of dated parallelling generator control system as well as visual interfaces for automatic/manual generator control and testing. b. Electrical/Controls - Upgrades to the Electrical Control System - Replacement and upgrades of obsolete equipment within PLC-based electrical system control including serial communication topology, Human Machine Interface (HMI), and SCADA system. c. Electrical/Controls - General logic software upgrades including control options for rental or roll-up generators. d. Electrical/Controls - Upgrade to rental generator system including controls and shore power termination enclosure. Upgrade to Mechanical Loads Switchboard to upsize breaker selected to feed shore power to termination enclosure. 2) Alternates: Alternate 1: Replacement Of Electrical Control System - Replacement of Emerson RX3i PLC-based control system equipment, utilizing Targeted Small Business (TSB): The certified Iowa TSB participation goal for this project is 10 percent (10%) of the Base Bid. This establishes the amount that should be reported on the Final Payment Reporting Form as part of the TSB Program. Question Deadline Dec 10, 2024
