Pursuant to provisions of the City Procurement Code, the City of Peoria, Materials Management Division intends to establish a contract for Neighborhood Parks & Basin Turf Maintenance. The City of Peoria intends to establish a contract for turf mowing services at various neighborhood parks (NP) and stormwater retention basin (BN) locations throughout the City limits. The City of Peoria reserves the right to award any geographic or task based portion of this contract to the contractor or multiple contractors that best suites the needs and expectations of our citizens. The failure of the City to insist upon the strict performance of any term or condition of the contract or to exercise or delay the exercise of any right or remedy provided in the contract, or by law, or the City's acceptance of and payment for materials or services, shall not release the Contractor from any responsibilities or obligations imposed by this contract or by law, and shall not be deemed a waiver of any right of the City to insist upon the strict performance of the Contract. LICENSES: Contractor shall maintain in current status all Federal, State and Local licenses and permits required for the operation of the business conducted by the Contractor as applicable to this Contract. Term of Contract: The term of any resultant contract shall commence on the effective date indicated on page 1 and shall continue for a period of three (3) years thereafter, unless terminated, cancelled or extended as otherwise provided herein.
