Scope of Work/Services The Department of Utilities is seeking a provider to provide and furnish all the necessary materials, labor, transportation, and equipment to perform Standard Lift Station Cleaning at Parish owned and operating sites of two hundred - sixty (260) lift stations located throughout St. Tammany Parish. The provider must provide a list of cleaned sites on their invoices. Friendship Valley Elementary School: Construct approximately 5735 GSF for kindergarten and pre-kindergarten addition and 7944 GSF PRIDE Program addition. The additions will be steel frame construction with exterior masonry bearing with brick veneer exterior walls, with metal stud and gypsum board interior partitions. Base bid for the roofing system will be TPO membrane roof system on metal deck. An add-alternate built-up roof system with flexible flashings will be priced with the project. Each of the new PK/K will have one (1) student toilet room and convenience sinks with built-in cabinetry and countertops directly in each classroom. The PRIDE program addition will incorporate classrooms, support rooms, bathrooms and modifications to the front entrance. Tie into automatic sprinkler system to provide fire suppression to the addition will be included. The addition will be served by a direct expansion variable air volume rooftop handling unit. The unit will be provided with a heating water coil. Stormwater will connect to the existing stormwater management facility on site Construction is expected to start June 2025 with Occupancy Summer of 2026. Contractor will be required to isolate construction activities from the existing functioning school. Contractor will be responsible to perform work so as not to interfere with Owner’s operations. Sandymount Elementary School: Construct approximately 8,795 GSF kindergarten and pre-kindergarten addition. The addition will be steel frame construction with exterior masonry bearing with brick veneer exterior walls, with concrete unit masonry walls. . Base bid for the roofing system will be TPO membrane roof system on metal deck. An add-alternate built-up roof system with flexible flashings will be priced with the project. Each of the new pre-kindergarten classrooms will have two (2) toilet rooms and a convenience sink with built-in cabinetry and countertops. The new kindergarten classrooms will have one (1) student toilet room in each classroom, along with a convenience sink with built-in cabinetry and countertops in the classrooms. Tie into automatic sprinkler system to provide fire suppression to the addition will be included. The addition will be served by a direct expansion variable air volume rooftop handling unit. The purpose of this essential service quote is to obtain proposals from qualified providers who are interested in providing standard lift station cleaning to various lift station sites. St. Tammany Parish Government (STPG) Department of Utilities (DU) owns and operates over 260 lift stations through-out St. Tammany Parish. Submittal of a proposal does not create any right or expectation to a contract with the Parish. Cleaning Schedule: DU will allow a maximum of 20 cleaning days per quarter to clean all identified Standard Lift Stations. DU will identify the lift station to be cleaned over the maximum 20 days per quarter. At times, DU may need to request additional cleaning outside of the schedule. sqr ft value(5330 GSF + 5735 GSF + 8,795 GSF + 5841 GSF) St. Tammany Parish Government reserves the right to reject any or all quotes and to waive informalities.
