On Monday, December 16, 2024, the bids will be presented to the City Commission for review and possible award. No bid may be withdrawn within thirty (30) days from the scheduled closing time for receiving bids. Bid prices shall be F.O.B. Water Treatment Plant, 1625 North Lincoln, Parsons, KS. The quantities are estimates only and no minimum amounts are guaranteed. The city reserves the right to vary monthly amounts and to request interim shipments to protect against emergencies. No deposits or fees for cylinders shall be charged. Any fees charged in addition to bid amount shall be set out on the bid form and will be considered in the final cost of the bid. All chemicals shall comply with the latest standards of American Water Works Association. Any bid awarded to supply chemicals to the City of Parsons is conditioned upon satisfactory service. Service that is not satisfactory in the opinion of the City will result in the termination of the contract to supply chemicals. Bids are for the calendar year 2025. The City of Parsons reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive informalities therein.
