Renovation of an educational facility in Parsons, Kansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 7,623-square-foot educational facility.
USD 503 Parsons District School is requesting bid proposals for the sanding, repainting and finishing of the main gym floor. This is a substantial project, requiring a complete sanding of the 77' X 99' (7623sf) gym floor. Sanding of main gym floorBidder will be responsible for sanding of the entire gym floor. (87' x 128') This is not exact as we have closet areas on the south side that takes up 310 sq ft of the total 11,136 sq ft area. Total sanding area 10826 sq ft +/- lOOsq ft. Sanding equipment must have a vacuum system that eliminated or keeps the dust to a minimum as we have smoke heads in our gyms. Lines will be repainted as in original state prior to removal except for the side lines and baselines. Sidelines and baselines will need to be changed from the previous 8" to 30". Basketball and Volleyball lines will remain the same throughout. The coaching box line by the base line will be removed. The decal in the center of the floor will remain the exact same and maybe either a painted or vinyl decal but must be specified in the bid. This project will need to be started after May 30th and completed by Aug. 1st .
