The scope of this project includes, but is not limited to, the following: The AG Barn West and East buildings are two separate agricultural building renovation sites. At AG Barn East, the project aims to provide perimeter bird netting, provide bird protection at all openings, exterior standalone 10-stall pole barns, replace pasture cross fencing, add an emergency generator, and security cameras. At AG Barn West, the project aims to provide perimeter bird netting, provide bird protection at all openings, replace existing lockers, replace aging pens, replace pasture cross fencing, add an emergency generator, remote VFD, and insta-hot replacement at girl's restroom. Alternate No. 1 - State in the proposal form the amount to add to or deduct from the Base Proposal for the Proposed team. This alternate is intended to provide the Contractor the opportunity to adjust the Base Proposal up or down based upon the proposed subcontractors submitted along with Alternate proposals. Alternate No. 2 - At Ag Barn East, the new pole barn cattle area will have a hoof grid system. Alternate No. 3 - At Ag Barn East and West, provide the following scope for the existing perimeter fencing: (1) Add mid height horizontal support between posts. (2) Relocate all fabric to the secure side of the fence. Alternate No. 4 - At Ag Barn East, relocate the existing VFDs for the existing Big Ass Fans’, onto the CMU wall near the entrance, at 7’-0” A.F.F. Provide wiring between the existing fans and the VFDs and between the VFDs and the existing controllers in the office. Include an additional 100 sf at each water hydrant location at the pastures regardless if Alternate 06 is taken. Alternate No. 5 - At Ag Barn West, replace the insta-hot fixture in the boys’ restroom and locate it within the plumbing chase, similar to the scope in the girls’ restroom. Alternate No. 6 - At Ag Barn West, add (3) hose bibbs for the troughs so that each field has access to water. Alternate No. 7 - At Ag Barns East and West provide BAS monitoring for the new generator. Alternate No. 8 - At Ag Barns East and West provide BAS monitoring for the new generator.
