Site work for a water / sewer project in Cumberland, Rhode Island. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The scope of the improvements is anticipated to include, but not be limited to, the removal of existing drainage infrastructure within Industrial Road, the installation of an underground lined detention system partially within Industrial Road and the adjacent 5 Industrial Road property, installation of catch basins, manholes, and pipe conveyance, installation of a tree box filter, the complete restoration of the area and all associated incidentals. Questions regarding this bid shall be submitted in writing to Matthew Ciullo (mciullo@parecorp.com) and copying Joseph C. Duarte PE (jduarte@cumberlandri.org) no later than 5:00 PM on November 15, 2024. Substantial completion is set at 180 days following the Notice to Proceed to complete all work. Final Completion shall be 30 days from substantial completion. Liquidated damages will be in the amount of $500.00 for each calendar day of delay from the date established for substantial completion. There is a 15% DBE goal for this project. Prevailing Wages: The successful contractor and sub-contractor(s) shall comply with the provisions of Rhode Island General Laws, (RIGL) Chapter 37 pertaining to the ''Prevailing Wage Laws'' for all municipal funded projects in excess of one thousand ($1,000) dollars.
