Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Wahpeton, North Dakota. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Reconstruction of 4th Avenue South from 3rd Street to 6th Street and 4th Street South from Railroad Tracks to 7th Avenue South. Reconstruction of 4th Street to include new bituminous street, sidewalk, storm sewer, water, and sanitary sewer. 4th Avenue South would include new street and new catch basin inlets. There are no sanitary sewer or watermains in this stretch of 4th Avenue South. New sidewalk proposed on the south side of the street for entire length. New sidewalk on north side of street from 5th Street to 6th Street. 4th Street South from Railroad Tracks to 4th Avenue South and 4th Avenue South from 4th Street to 6th Street are on Urban Roads Program. 4th Street South from 4th Avenue to 7th Avenue South and 4th Avenue South between 3rd and 4th Street is proposed to be funded with SRF loan money. As of November 26 , 2024, this project is included in the city's 2025-2029 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
