Site work for a power facility in Salisbury, New Brunswick. Completed plans call for site work for a power facility.
The purpose of this RFP is to determine if there are qualified companies to bid for the provision of goods and services as an EPCM (Engineer Procure Construct Manage) Contractor for a new +/- 300 Mvar STATCOM at the 345 kV Salisbury Terminal Station. A new +/- 300 Mvar STATCOM will be built at the 345 kV Salisbury Terminal Station. This project will have a total capacity of +/- 300 Mvar. The project will be implemented by using a +/- 300 Mvar VSC based STATCOM connected to the grid by a coupling transformer at the Salisbury Terminal. To accommodate this, the Salisbury Terminal will be expanded by one 345 kV bay. Clarification Requests Due Date: January 17, 2025 NB Power will not be bound by, and Proponent must not rely on, any oral interpretations or clarifications of the RFP documents. Such interpretations or clarifications must be transmitted through the RFP Administrator via email at alltenders@nbpower.com or through the Messaging feature within the Bonfire Platform.
